“In Search of Biblical Justice” Conference

The Institute for Justice Formation at the John Leland Center for Theological Studies shares the call of Justice Revival to help the Church reach its potential through the faithful pursuit of justice.

We’re excited to participate in the Institute’s third annual conference, “In Search of Biblical Justice,” this June 9-10 in Arlington, VA.

The conference will offer worship, educational presentations and panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and more, including a session titled “Biblical Seeds, Theological Roots, and a Christian Vision of Universal Rights” by Justice Revival Founder and Executive Director, Allyson McKinney Timm.

Offered on Friday, June 9 at 3 pm ET, McKinney Timm’s presentation will draw connections between relevant biblical sources, theological principles, and the present-day concept of human rights. It will also cover the urgent need for Christians of goodwill to reclaim and proclaim human rights in a prophetic voice, in order to counteract the oppressive forces of religious nationalism, systemic racism, and enduring patriarchy.

You can participate in person in Arlington, VA or tune in online!
