Justice Revival Privacy Policy

Issued Sept. 30, 2020

Justice Revival is committed to protecting the privacy of our website visitors, donors, volunteers, and other constituents (including those whose information we may acquire digitally or in person). This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through our website, email, or US mail; and at our sponsored events or appearances.

As we continue to enhance our website’s user experience and to evolve as an organization, Justice Revival may need to revise our Privacy Policy periodically. However, the spirit of our Privacy Policy will not change, including our commitment to never sell, exchange, rent, trade, or disclose the personal information of our visitors, donors, volunteers, and other constituents to unaffiliated third parties without their permission.

We respect your privacy and information security.

Justice Revival will not sell or share the personal information you provide, or that we collect through our website, to any unaffiliated organization without your permission, with the following exceptions:

  • We may share personal information with third parties who provide services to us, such as website hosting, donor database management, or other services of an administrative or technical nature, solely for the purpose of providing such services and subject to confidentiality obligations on the part of those service providers.
  • With your explicit permission, we may provide some of your information to government officials, legislators, media, and advocacy organizations, and other third parties, when you choose to send them messages, sign petitions, or complete surveys through the online tools we provide.
  • We reserve the right to disclose personal information about our website visitors or supporters if we believe in good faith that the law permits it: to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Justice Revival, our staff, our visitors, our web users, or the public; to respond to an emergency; or to enforce any terms of use agreement governing use of a website controlled or operated by us.
  • We may occasionally share your information with our affiliates or other like-minded organizations whose missions, products, or services we think our supporters might find relevant.

If you sign up for one of our mailing lists, Justice Revival is committed to providing you timely updates. We may request information from you to help customize our communication with you or enable you to select the type(s) of information that you would like to receive. You can unsubscribe from communication you receive from us at any time by following the directions in each such communication.

We respect the privacy of children and do not knowingly contact children under 13 or collect personal information from them. Whenever age-related information is requested, we will develop our site portal with the capacity to reject information from children under 13. If we inadvertently receive information pertaining to children under 13, as soon as we are notified of and verify the information, we will immediately seek to obtain parental consent or delete the information from our servers. To notify us of our receipt of information by children under 13, please email us at info@justicerevival.org.

We take appropriate measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the personally identifiable information of our website visitors, donors, volunteers, and other constituents that is under our control. Some of these measures include, but are not limited to, allowing only designated Justice Revival staff and authorized, affiliated individuals access to such personally identifiable information, and using industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving personally identifiable information from our site. However, security breaches can take place even if reasonable preventive steps are taken. Please contact us immediately if you believe there has been a security breach of our sites.

We encourage you to safeguard your information online.

If you decide to share personal information to our website that can be viewed elsewhere by the public, please be aware that the information you share may be seen by others. Please contact us if you believe a visitor to a Justice Revival website is improperly collecting or using information about you or other users.

You have the right to opt-out of our communication.
